A lot of my days look just like this picture — one long 15 hour blur
There are beautiful moments hidden underneath the blur. But, I have to stop and notice them before they pass by unappreciated.
Today, I’m unwrapping the gift of seeing with open eyes.
I will stop what I am doing when someone needs me, look into their eyes, and listen.
I wil close my eyes and listen to the songs of the birds.
I will go for a walk and take pictures of His handiwork.
I will take a few minutes and join in with my kids in their silly play.
I’m guessing that even in a very busy day, there will be ample moments of joy, peace, and grace. Moments that will be savored and enjoyed.
Moments that I will notice because I stopped to see them.
beautiful post; perfect for tuesdays unwrapped!
I thought the blur was beautiful! Sometimes in the craziness of life we mistake the blur for a mistake, but honestly, the blue of our busy days is magnificent!
I needed to read this today. Wish I had read it earlier in my day. Tomorrow I will strive to do more focusing, listening, and being right there in the moment with them.
focusing my own eyes right now!
Love your first photo. My post is similar in a lot of ways…Yes, sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses, or the carnations. 🙂
yes. YES. Love the images and the perspective. Off to do the same.
Oooh…I need to hear this today (& every day).
I love the contrast here..such a powerful encouragement to really treasure the moment. Thank you for the picture that will be in my mind today.
Love these images. Perfect. And that whole stopping-to-look-them-in-the-eye thing? I so need to hear that.
